The task was to design, program, and implement a scaled prototype of an Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) for MotorHub capable of carrying ten kilograms along straight and curved paths, as well as up a 5° slope. Programmed the motor velocity control in Arduino and produced the final demonstration video of the product. The project met the design requirements, achieving a maximum velocity of 0.23 m/s on straight paths, and was showcased on the university’s Mechatronics Department website. A video of a robotic arm is included at the end as part of the course content.
